AKA,K.O Run Jozi (Godly) video 1st month

Celebrating Run Jozi (Godly)

Relative position given new life and meaning

A month ago the streets were buzzing about the release of Run Jozi (Godly) on youtube channel after it premiered on Channel O, the demand for the video to be uploaded to a channel where fans could access it as many times as possible. but wait a minute how did we get here? well this is what happened, AKA invited K.O over to studio and this was the only proof fans had in their imagination. a photograph of AKA with K.O in what looked as making of a classic. The look on the guy in the middle gave more than a hint of what was about to happen.

Run Jozi (Godly) was released on youtube channel by Vth season at August 29th, after the fans kept Kiernan's mentions buzzing he ended up confessing  how much he would really love to just drop the video at same day of premier at Channel O but they had to wait a little longer.
Well now let me get on the song before we saw the visuals, the issues that were delivered according to my intuition and beyond understanding, again I say to my understanding, the day this record dropped fans took it to social platforms such as twitter to express their views, whether "Run Jozi (Godly)" was a pastiche or joining the Versace trend or as anti-Versace concept.

Well before I get lost in what the song is about let me mention that sometimes as fans we overlook the meaning of songs, yes at given times there are hidden meanings in certain records but all I could hear was people bringing Migo's Versace trend in this song. I was and   still expecting a single person that would pick the "African renaissance" dialogue AKA begins with at "the summer is ours, I'm hungry for power, Gaddafi Gaddafi". Why no one noted a thing about prosperity that AKA might be talking about, African prosperity by Africans, I guess one have to be a politician to talk sense into the open ears. Do we really listen to records any more or we just prefer dancing to bangers?

So no this got nothing to do with Versace, it is absolutely true that there are greater chances of my little cousins to be aware of "versace" and the culture that is chained with it more than they know about our African traditions, heritage and heros. Oh well I am talking about "You go to my school, they can't tell you sh*t about Chris hani, Chris Hani",
Believe it or not Run Jozi paid homage to our beloved late three African leaders, Gaddafi, Chris Hani and Nelson Mandela.  moving on I could not forget to mention the "Hustle anthem" hook by Yanga well I will call him Chief.  Music is a conversation, we wont always have to agree, Lets congrats the King, the man.

Lemme call it a wrap, happy first month to "Run Jozi (Godly) by AKA, K.O&Yanga chief currently sitting on more than 170 000 views on youtube.
