BEFORE DISCOVERY: NADIA NAKAI

#WHATEVER feat guest appearance of Dot com & Psyfo.

For years I have laid my eyes on one woman, watching her grown in the SA music biz, among the best and she knew she had something different to offer the game. I present SID RECORDS artist Nadia Nakai aka SA’s rap empress, this is her “Before Discovery” part 3, last the focus was on her recent record “Money” featuring Kid X& Dj Capital now I have heard shes dropping “What ever” this Thursday ,May 29th 2014. With guest appearance by none than her Boss Psyfo and newly Sony signed artist Dot com.

In art or entertainment at large your reputation is held by your last performance, “Money” had the street talking, I believe by Thursday we will be bumping our speakers high to the SID’s finest lady. No wait how can I forget Nadia’s appearance in “Amantombazane remix” her highness went all “Solange on em bars” (no offence). I hope SID records will first drop the song at datafilehost for some hours before iTunes, but I have hope since “Umntu wam” by Psy went the same route.

Okay lemme be honest the anticipated single “What ever” is defeating my imagination of what could be the concept , the story behind the story, who is she addressing, the game? Or its one of those records with an untouchable that will lead you into listening to the entire album in order to grasp what was being portrayed in one picture with pieces all over the body of art.
Am really excited about the growth of female rapper's contribution to the game also the acknowledgement they been given , looking forward covering other artist's work as Miss Nadia Nakai have inspired  new breed of artists.

She has always dropped bangers, tomorrow Thursday 29th May she wont disappoint,  that I know . You can follow her http://twitter.com/Nadia_Nakia to stay intouch with #Whatever hit maker.

Have a great day world, this is Hip hop at its best, music that’s all we love at this side of town.-Port Elizabeth.

BEFORE DISCOVERY: Wasted- by Luco Se&RJ

Luco Se tapes

Riding along the redish blend of Nelson Mandela bay sun set, it’s a Friday a word been going around that you been invited to the biggest party in town, just came back from a spree, ok who will be there? The classy ladies, bad girls, hustlers ,shakers and movers. Imagine the low tempo beat, I looked up the streets couldnt ignore the busy balconies up stairs with hypnotising scene, the spirit of new winter 2014 season approaching from the Indian ocean, the unforgettable nights at talking Gondwana, Cubana, Government and Jwarha, have you ever been there? In background I heard “Wasted” by Luco se and RJ, homies rolling that blunt , full cup in the left hand no refill needed.

This is a type of a record your parents wish you not experiencing in real life, as it talks about the young spirits that come alive in night time, the thrill, the spree that takes place on those night clubs bathrooms.
The record “Wasted” is well produced .Port Elizabeth I introduce to you “Wasted” , a single by Luco Se with guest appearance of RJ, record released at 16 May 2014,Friday, a song that put a listener on the front seat of the life lived by rappers, fashion designers, party promoters, models am talking the well-known socialites ,the thugs the go getter's my ni99a you feel me.
ced I must say, as a hip hop head I must high light that a song is built from the beat to lyrics, sometimes enough punchlines aren’t enough, fortunately in this song the bars met the beat in perfect pitching mode.

The song talks about the life from Gondwana, Parlianment, Government, Jwarha and some places I have never been to even myself, is this a kind of map guide to the night life or what? Ok maybe cos am a Transkei kinda guy :-).

From my last night’s hang over this is only what I can remember from last night:
“Ni99as am your senior what the f*kc this ni99a sipping/someone told me am tripping what this bull sh*t that you been  listening to”-RJ
“Still broke but tell you b*tch I* gat guarana money”-LUCO SE,  lols that trendy shit my ni99a that’s whats up.  You can down load the song on kasimp3 follow the link http://kasimp3.co.za/123480.

There PE,Nelson Mandela bay and entire of Eastern Cape here is a fun record, chilled youthful beat in your heart, “So lemme keep rapping/get that cash, car , house, wifey”. You can follow LUCO SE on twitter at http://twitter.com/_Lucose .
