BEFORE DISCOVERY: NADIA NAKAI
#WHATEVER feat guest appearance of Dot com & Psyfo.
For years I have laid my eyes on one woman, watching
her grown in the SA music biz, among the best and she knew she had something
different to offer the game. I present SID RECORDS artist Nadia Nakai aka SA’s
rap empress, this is her “Before Discovery” part 3, last the focus was on her
recent record “Money” featuring Kid X& Dj Capital now I have heard shes
dropping “What ever” this Thursday ,May 29th 2014. With guest
appearance by none than her Boss Psyfo and newly Sony signed artist Dot com.
In art or entertainment at large your reputation is
held by your last performance, “Money” had the street talking, I believe by Thursday
we will be bumping our speakers high to the SID’s finest lady. No wait how can
I forget Nadia’s appearance in “Amantombazane remix” her highness went all “Solange
on em bars” (no offence). I hope SID records will first drop the song at
datafilehost for some hours before iTunes, but I have hope since “Umntu wam” by
Psy went the same route.
Okay lemme be honest the anticipated single “What
ever” is defeating my imagination of what could be the concept , the story
behind the story, who is she addressing, the game? Or its one of those records
with an untouchable that will lead you into listening to the entire album in
order to grasp what was being portrayed in one picture with pieces all over the
body of art.
Am really excited about the growth of female rapper's contribution to the game also the acknowledgement they been given , looking forward covering other artist's work as Miss Nadia Nakai have inspired new breed of artists.
She has always dropped bangers, tomorrow Thursday 29th May she wont disappoint,
that I know . You can follow her http://twitter.com/Nadia_Nakia to
stay intouch with #Whatever hit maker.
Have a great day world, this is Hip hop at its best,
music that’s all we love at this side of town.-Port Elizabeth.
I do not own the rights of the images and link shared on this article, all rights are held by Nadia Nakai, thank you-Xolile “Great Geneious III”Mlunguzi.
